Work With Us

Transparent ways manufacturers, retailers, software companies and other relevant organisations can work with The Tools and Tech.

Relevant opportunities

We may consider product information, review samples or temporary loans, expert briefings, approved affiliate programmes, clearly labelled advertising or sponsorship, newsletter and video support, useful tools or research projects, and carefully vetted service partnerships for home-technology or business-technology readers.

Editorial boundaries

Payment, free products, higher commission rates or advertising spend do not buy a positive recommendation, ranking, score or removal of a legitimate drawback. Research-based coverage remains labelled as such, and hands-on claims are used only when genuine testing has taken place.

Sponsored work

Any accepted advertising or advertorial placement must be prominently identified before a reader engages with it. A commercial partner may check factual details about its own product, but it does not receive undisclosed control over an independent conclusion.

Advertising and retail promotion pilots

We are open to relevant introductory advertising proposals, subject to availability and suitability. Potential formats include a clearly labelled category-page banner, a fixed-duration retailer promotion, an independently selected deals-page listing alongside clearly identified sponsored offers, and a sponsored newsletter slot if and when an opt-in mailing list is operating. We do not guarantee clicks, sales or a specific audience size.

Brands can propose a short pilot with defined dates, placement, creative format, destination, reporting expectations and budget. A paid placement will be identified as advertising or sponsored content and will not influence our independent product verdicts. Any tracked or paid links will use appropriate sponsored-link attributes.

For deals, include the exact SKU, product condition, current price, evidence for any advertised saving, applicable region, start/end dates, stock limitations and restrictions. We will not publish unverified discounts or expired promotions as live offers.

Specialist partners and enquiries

AV, networking, cybersecurity, security-camera, energy, training and business-technology providers may propose a relevant reader resource or referral route. We assess competence, insurance where appropriate, geographic coverage, support terms, privacy handling and conflicts before inclusion. A reader’s details are not sold or passed to a provider without a clear request and appropriate permission.

Long-term manufacturer and distributor partnerships

We welcome ongoing relationships with manufacturers, retailers, distributors and their PR agencies covering relevant current ranges, forthcoming launches and future product generations. Suitable collaboration may involve official media-library access, advance briefings, independent research coverage, carefully agreed review loans or retained samples, and specialist interviews. Partners can share a current product catalogue, media contact and launch-notification process so each individual item does not need a new introduction.

Our editorial selection and conclusions remain independent. We do not promise coverage, positive verdicts, product rankings or publication dates in exchange for equipment, access or commissions. Any embargo, confidentiality terms, loan returns and material obligations must be agreed before participation.

Retailer feeds, exact-model links and system builders

Approved retailers and affiliate networks may propose documented product feeds or APIs covering exact SKUs/GTINs, in-stock status, regional prices, permitted tracking deep links and feed-refresh requirements. We can consider these for relevant product pages and PC, gaming, sim racing, creator and solar planning tools. A product feed is not a guarantee of a live quote: displayed prices and availability must identify the data source and last-checked time, and builder compatibility must be separately verified. Individual products may be shown with multiple retailer options where permitted.

For an efficient first discussion, please include your technical feed specification, UK eligibility, permitted use of assets, product identifiers, commission or partnership requirements and the best technical and PR contacts.

Useful proposals

A useful approach identifies the exact product or service, audience, countries served, timing, evidence available, commercial arrangement, data handling and any editorial restrictions. Generic link-exchange, paid-ranking, paid-backlink and copied-content proposals are not suitable.

Get in touch

Use the Contact page and include enough detail to assess relevance. Acceptance is not guaranteed, and no product should be sent until arrangements are confirmed.

Product reviews, samples and media enquiries

Manufacturers, distributors and PR teams offering review loans, retained samples, press access or hands-on product opportunities should read our dedicated Media & Product Review Requests page before sending a pitch. It explains the categories we cover, loan and return expectations, disclosure rules, editorial independence and the information we need with a review request.

Media kit

For a concise overview of our audience, technology coverage, editorial opportunities, testing standards and commercial routes, see the The Tools and Tech Media Kit. Verified current audience and reach figures can be supplied to legitimate PR and commercial contacts on request.

Partnership enquiries

Manufacturers, retailers, software providers, publishers, affiliate networks and relevant service partners can contact Thetoolsandtechteam@outlook.com. Please include the exact product or service, countries served, proposed arrangement, timing, evidence available and any data-handling requirements. Coverage and positive conclusions are never guaranteed.

Commercial partnerships, affiliate relationships and sponsorship do not purchase a positive review or a particular recommendation. Paid or controlled promotional content is kept distinct from independent editorial coverage and labelled appropriately.
