KAT Walk C2 Core Enhanced is a 360-degree, low-friction VR walking platform with body support and dedicated footwear. It is a lower-feature C2 choice than the Plus model. KAT lists SteamVR and Oculus PC routes; standalone Quest use needs checking for the separate KAT Nexus adapter and supported title.

Who it may suit

Buyers who want a home VR walking platform and can accommodate the footwear, harness and platform setup. Check whether the exact game uses the movement input in the way you expect.

Fit and setup

  • KAT lists 5 ft 3 in–6 ft 5 in as the recommended height range, 5 ft 1 in–6 ft 7 in as supported, and 130 kg as maximum user weight.
  • The platform is 230 mm above the floor; KAT lists a 940 mm diameter and 1.23 m² footprint including stabilising feet. Allow further safe clearance and ceiling height for movement.
  • Choose the correct shoe size and check whether the Quest adapter, sitting module and other options are included in the selected bundle.

Potential drawback: sliding on a concave platform needs acclimatisation; headset compatibility and accessories vary by configuration.
