KAT Loco S 2025: compact VR walking alternative

Research-based product profile. We have not tested this unit. Product details checked 23 October 2026; confirm the final bundle, shipping and tax with the seller.

KAT Loco S 2025 is a set of three wearable movement sensors. You walk in place to provide movement input in supported VR games. It is a smaller, less expensive type of locomotion setup than a harness-supported treadmill, but it does not provide a physical walking platform or the same restraint system.

Who it may suit

Buyers comparing a full-size VR treadmill with a compact way to try foot-driven movement. KAT lists PC VR game support and offers a Nexus adapter option for compatible standalone Quest setups; check the game and headset first.

Before buying

  • Confirm the three-sensor kit, receiver, charging accessories and any chosen Quest adapter in the basket.
  • Clear a safe play area; without a treadmill harness you must still avoid furniture, other people and pets.
  • Ask KAT to confirm UK delivery, returns, VAT and the exact model variant if checkout terms are unclear.

Potential drawback: movement is walking in place rather than walking on a supported platform. It is a different experience from KAT Walk C2 or Virtuix Omni One.
