Virtuix Omni One Core: PC VR treadmill buying guide
Research-based product profile. We have not tested this unit. Product details and availability checked 23 October 2026; verify them with the seller before purchase.
Omni One Core is the treadmill-only route for PC VR users who already have or plan to buy a compatible headset and VR-ready Windows PC. Virtuix says its Omni Connect software transfers physical movement to games as controller input. It lists the UK among current sales regions.
Who it may suit
PC VR users who want to keep a SteamVR-compatible headset rather than buy a complete new VR system. Check the specific headset and each intended game. Omni One Core does not include a headset or controllers.
Fit and setup
- Published user limits are 4 ft 4 in–6 ft 4 in tall and up to 250 lb; the vest is listed for waists up to 46 in.
- Allow at least a 6 ft × 6 ft clear area. Check the PC requirements and route any headset cable away from the moving user.
- Include the headset, computer, delivery, VAT and warranty in the total budget.
Potential drawback: the required PC and headset raise the total cost; the manufacturer’s height ceiling excludes some tall users.
